Summary

A homeowner in Livingston noticed water gathering under their bathroom sink. The leak was traced to an aging p-trap that had become brittle and started to fail. Addressing these types of leaks quickly can prevent water damage and bigger issues down the line.

The Work

Removed the old, corroded p-trap that was causing the leak
Installed a new PVC p-trap for improved durability
Retained the original pop-up assembly to avoid unnecessary part replacement

The Outcome

The bathroom sink now drains properly with no leaks, and the risk of ongoing water damage is gone. Simple fixes like this keep plumbing running smoothly and help prevent future headaches.
